Intro to Canning- This will be the first in the series of Home Canning with Kim from Phoenix Farms and Wellness. This is for the beginner to home canning and will explore the different ways to can, the equipment needed to be safe, the process of ingredient selection and proper canning techniques. You will leave with visual knowledge and some handouts to help you get started on this way to preserve your harvest! Take this workshop if you have always wanted to learn to make your own jams, jellies, pickles or even adventure on to soups and meats. This workshop will provide materials for you to take home including a few recipes, equipment lists and basic information about safety.
